I tried to communicate with the Explorer Balance [E11140] made by Ohaus Corporation. It did not replay anything.
Is there anyone who can help me?
Tanx!

why do you choose that...why don't try sth like opera?

Because the lab where I work bought it. So I have to. No choise.

Read the help!

you need to configure connection setting

EDit: Opera is free

let me get this straight....you are using labview to
communicate with the balance...the balance only
accept commands via rs232, Am I right? If that is the
case you need to check the setting for RS232 communications
such as speed, # of bits, etc.....You can check it
also using a program already in your computer
called HyperTerminal. Once you feeel comfortable
with the setting you switch to Labview to "control"
the balance. Of course you can do the same with
LAbview, i mean change the seting of the rs232
until you receive an echo or response from the device.
