Hi jatink007

Am getting a bit confused by your posts in different threads ?

In one thread you seem to be trying to build at Pickit2 - in another you say you have an ICD2 ??

If you have an icd2 you can program both the 2550 and the 87J50... ??

Seems a bit difficult to know what you are really doing.
Would be good to know what what hardware you actually have and so what you want to do

Hi,
The cross indicates that it is connected to J2 pin6, J1 pin6 and CN1 pin 5.

Hope this helps.
Tahmid.

Right, understand now.

Think you will find building a Pk2 easier than the ICD2, but your choice.

You can program up a 2550 for the Piclit2 on the ICD2.

You use the Pickit2 FirmWare V2.32 from this link.
**broken link removed**

While you are there download and install the windows program Pickit2 v2.61.
This is the stand alone PK2 program which has a lot of extra feaures not available when you use the PK2 direct from within MPlab.
