how to do this program controller

washing machine
use I/O - leds,7segment display,motor,buzzer and switch.

microprocessor and microcontoller subject..
pls help me
 

you could use a PIC 18F4620 mcu for this, or even a 16F877A if the program logic is not much.

What general scheme have you in mind ??

Here is my idea..
- Leds could indicate light, heavy or hard clothing. Also the kind of operation, such as wash, rinse, or spin etc.

- 7 Segments could indicate time remaining for an operation
- Buzzer indicates an error, or end of the washing process.
- The switch could be used to power the entire machine.

Apart from all these you would also need an electronic valve that could drain out the water in the wash tub, an inlet valve to allow the water to fill in. A feedback device to indicate flow of water would also be useful.
 

is it for full automatic or for semi automatic ?

how the moter is controlling ie with TRIAC or with RELAY
 

relay that controls a contactor is better, its heavy duty and more reliable, and can withstand variations in voltages.

A scheme for both semi-automatic and automatic can be easily designed and implemented on a 16F877A or a 18F4620

min circuit......40 5v etc
port 2.0 output 1
port 2.1 output 2

I tested one before few years ago using two button.Start and stop


But I want to design it little bit advanced.Like washing method select,economy wash,alert on error or end of washing.including when water is finish(or problem on water values) alert and pause washing system.
