Please can someone tell me what are knowledges one must possess in order to be able to implement professional hardware like mobile phones , Network Routers and Switches, wireless Access Points, GSM BTSs ..............

and to be able to have a job in a big company like Motorola, Ericsson, Cisco,........

Which of the following is more important

knowledge of microprocessors and microcontrollers

Embedded Systems and RTOS

Digital Design , HDLs like VHDL and Verilog ,ASIC and FPGAs

Signal Processing

Analog Design

Or What

please help me

thanks

u need strong hold on all of the things u have mentioned.

but which is the most important

You can divide this into two parts so that it easier to workout.
1. Embedded System - Application level
2. VLSI - Chip level.

In VLSI again there are analog and digital VLSI. Also in Embedded system there are hardware and software design. All fields are challenging and you can decide it based on your interest.

Professional hardware is never developed by one individual, it will always be a team, each focusing on a certain part of the development like analog design, digital design, embedded software, PCB. If the project is larger, more developers can work on one of the topics mentioned above

Also you need to have deep knowledge of the product what you are planning to develop, ie routers network switches mobile phone and etc...
