problems regarding BJT

Whenever the BJT is reverse biased,the collector current and the emitter current won't be exactly zero,but it would be close to zero( current in the order of µA).The Emitter Voltage is dependent upon how you are going to connect the emitter part of the transistor,it can be directly connected to the ground or it can be connected to a ground via a emitter-resistance(RE).Then as per your design,the emitter voltage would be the drop across RE.(Remember current is not zero).
 

The emitter-base has avalanche breakdown (like a zener diode) with a reverse voltage of only 5V for most silicon transistors. This overheats the tiny junction and slowly damages it.
