Problem with using icfb of IC5141 on KDE

I hav enewly installed ic5141 and when i try to use icfb, i'm getting the following error:

usr1@serv:~$ icfb
/home/cad/tools/dfII/bin/icfb.exe: relocation error: /home/cad/tools/dfII/bin/icfb.exe: symbol errno, version GLIBC_2.0 not defined in file libc.so.6 with link time reference
usr1@serv:~$

Could someone please tell how to solve it?

Have you tried setting evn variable LD_ASSUME_KERNEL=2.4.1 in shell before calling icfb ?

Try this first.

I mean:

bash> export LD_ASSUME_KERNEL=2.4.1
bash> icfb &

Your Linux version is newer, library is incompatible. You may need to install IC5141 onto other version.

to topgun: i have tried that but still had errors, like cant open a shared file

In order to make it work, we need to install some previous libraries on this version. But we will see that dependent libraries and softwares is incompatible, so more previous libraries need to be installed. It is desperate.
