Hi
I installed synopsys design compiler in ubuntu (on VMware) ,but when I try to run dc_shell in terminal,I receive following error:
grep: etc/redhat-release is a directory
Fatal: Design compiler is not enable.(DCSH-1)
I add following lines to .bashrc:
export SNPSLMD_LICENSE_FILE=/usr/synopsys/synopsys.dat
export PATH=$PATH:/usr/synopsys/B-2008.09/bin
export LM_LICENSE_FILE=/usr/synopsys/license.dat
export PATH=$PATH:/usr/synopsys/11.5/linux/bin
where 11.5 folder is for scl and B-2008.09 folder is for design compiler.both of them are in synopsys folder in usr directory.
please help me.
