Hello,
I am using reflection X 10.0.6 to then start the Cadence environment in order to simulate schematics and chips in the Analog Environment.
I am finding a kind of bug in it: I set the reflection X in order to have an X terminal desktop AND a reflection Window manager. In this way I can treat Reflection X as a whole Unix desktop, being able to iconize it with everything inside that Unix window. The problem is that when I start the Analog Environment the setting changes and it comes back to the default one, so with Windows desktop and annoying icons as they were generated by the Windows world.
Do you think it's a bug or something not too well set in my reflection x?
Thank you very much for all you advices.

I'm using Hummingbird's eXceed 8.0 to do what you are describing. I set up a single window for my Unix environment. I have not had any issues although I have found it to be a little slow. I have sinced gone to using VNC (RealVNC) to set up a virtural X-Windows session on the Unix host and connecting with a VNCviewer. I find it is faster and I can connect from Home and still work even with a poorer data through put since it is only sending the changes in screen data rather than communicating and redrawing via X.
