Hi,

When i run cadence (ICFB) on my linux box, scrolling (using the arrows to move on the schematic editor) causes the CPU usage to go up to 100%, and there is noticable delay when i scroll.

however, if i use SSH to login the same linux box using a windows machine remotely. Scrolling only uses up 3% of the CPU, and there is no delay.

Can some one tell me how to get ICFB to run equally fast on my linux box?

Thanks in advance!

Re: Cadence acting slow

add the correct video drivers

maybe cadence uses direct x or other component to accelerate the video

linux uses another method if i remember for 2d graphics

its this engine thats slow
