I have a HDD which was resized from 20GB to 1GB. This was done during disk-image operation where 1GB disk image was written to 20GB HDD. I have tried to format this HDD but it always displays 1GB partition.
Any help..

Re: HDD resized

There are two operations - breaking to partitions and format. Format is never changing the size of partition. To change size you need to use fdisk or pqmagic.

Re: HDD resized

yes... do low-level ... format if you are a expert ....
or .. try to use ..partition magic ...

Re: HDD resized

For manage HDD is very easy with WIn2000 or XP installer.Delete and great partititions is very easy in start installation blue window. No need any programs for it.But before installation you need format any made partition. It maybe need restart installation for formatting any partition. You can make partitions as FAT or NTFS.Sorry my bad English.
