Problem on Tiny Bootloader

Hey freinds i m doing project on USB Oscillscope, I am using Microchip PIC18F2550, I programmed the bootloader on PIC18F2550 by ICD2.

However, when I use Tiny bootloader from http://www.etc.ugal.ro/cchiculita/software/picbootloader.htm, I can't upload the program to my PIC.

I did the following procedures:

1) Connected the circuit as file per attached
2) Set PC COM1 Config: 115200, 8 bits, Hardware control:Hardware, use FIFO buffer
3) Executed Tiny bootloader
4) Connected COM1 with circuit per attached
5) Press "writeflash", connect the power on circuit as quick as possbile


Since I am a newbile on PIC, would you please kindly help to check my circuit connection and procedures. Thank you very much, all friends~

swap your rx and tx data

TX goes to RX

RX goes to TX on rs232

and make sure your using the cable to match this

its often the likely cause

VSMVDD, thank you for your kindest reply.
However, after I swapped the rx and tx data (MAX 232 PIN 14-> COM1 PIN3, MAX232 PIN 13 -> COM1 PIN2) and press "write flash", it delay until end and the following message displayed:

Connect COM1: ok
Wait 100ms
HEX: 35 days old, INHX32, 18F code+cfg, total=15548bytes
Searching for PIC ...Not found,
ERRROR!

I am sure my circuit connection as file per attached.

I also tried to connect as file per attached, after I Press "writeflash", connect the power on circuit as quick as possbile, it displayed the error just after I connect the power on it.

Is that anything I miss to do, or any suggestion or circuit diagram and procedures that need to do when you program your PIC?

its showing me as:

Connect COM3: ok
HEX: 22 min old, INHX32,18Fcode+cfg, total=14533 words
Searching for PIC ...
pic sending unknown data:More than 2 id bytes received
ERROR!
