Re: Not able to work with 2 RF modules

IF i change the address of both Encoder to different will it work??? becoz my encoder board has DIP switch attached to it..

Re: Not able to work with 2 RF modules

Different address settings are surely required, but also the command switches must not be closed permanently. The local receiver can't receive any commands from the remore transmitter while the switch is closed and the locale transmitter is sending.

Re: Not able to work with 2 RF modules

Since you still haven't told us what the part number is of the transmitter so we can possible help, then this will be my last suggestion. From the picture, there is a pin on the 7-pin header that is labeled "TE". Could that possibly be Transmit Enable? As I don't have a spec sheet (since I don't know what the part number is), if it is a transmit enable line, then you could use that to turn the transmitter on, send the data, then turn it off. Then you could (possibly) use the 2 modules even when they are on the same frequency. You would still need to deal with arbitration between the 2 transmitters but it is doable. Id one transmitter is has a high duty cycle, then it still may not work. Otherwise, if you want to continue using that style of transmitter/receiver, I would suggest they bo on different frequencies; 315 MHz for one and 433 MHz for the other. Good luck.
