Problem in runing ConceptHDL in AMD64

olecs.exe

Hi
I got a system with AMD 64 3000+, installed windows XP 32 bit , and updated the processor driver to 64 bit,

now my problem is that iam not able to Expand the desing in Concept HDL or even iam not able to start the constraint manager.

geting an error message "olecs.exe" performed unexpected error.

and the application crash.

iam using PSD15.1 with service pack 1

How can i fix the problem?

Did you find a solution to this problem? I've got the same issue with my installed version of concept, I can't expand the design as it crashes and I get olecs.exe error .

Anybody know a workaround for olecs.exe crashing Concept HDL?
Any advise regarding olecs.exe greatly appreciated.

faulting application olecs.exe

You should not update the processor driver to 64 bits. Windows XP 32 bit will not handle 64 bit applications. You will have to run Windows XP 64 bit to use the 64 bit driver.

Thank you for your response, however, mine is a Win XP 32 sys & I've uninstalled & reinstalled repeatedly & still have a problem with olecs.exe crashing.
Firewall is a non-issue.

Anyone with a workaround or advise would be greatly appreciated.
