Hi.......
We have full version vxworks5.5 license server with 10 clients. My team is working on the project with this RTOS. It was working fine till the last week. But, suddenly we got an error popping-up “wrsd.exe Application error” continuously in the license server. When we tried to access this server through any of the 10 clients, it was unable to access even though the ping command is working fine from all the clients.
Then we thought of re-installation of the license server software again and as our fire-wall doesn't allow windriver site, we have gone for the dial-up connection. The connection is established in dial-up mode properly with our server. Now, during the final process of installation, it is popping-up a menu specifying the request for the license file either by automatic (through windriver server) or through phone or through e-mail. When we select for the automatic request, what we did during the initial installation, the error window (which is attached) in this mail is popping-up.
We have the previous license file with us that we got during the initial installation from the windriver server in automatic mode with the given license server key. Will you please suggest us the right way to re-install the license server again? We have already approached the customer support through mail, but till now there is no response from them.
We have tried by changing the cpu, thinking that we could get access with the windriver server with the same key but with the different MAC address. But here also the problem is not solved.
It will be beneficial if you could suggest the right way of re-installation of the license server software with the previous key or getting the license file again in automatic mode with this key through the windriver site.
