Problem in installing system generator?

how to install system generator

I install Xilinx ise 6.2 webpack & its updates.
But when i want to install system generator 6.1.1, It say core generator is not installed.
I check the installed xilinx. But it was not installed. Why?

I think that for XSG 6.1.1 you need ISE6.2 or 6.1, but not ISE Webpack. Check Xilinx's website. There is no info about Webpack. If you want to try this soft you should request Eval version of 6.2.

Install Xilinx ISE Foundation v6.2i

Install the following core generator

Install xilinxcorelib for simulation

You can obtain the above two by registering on xilinx website.

Only do the above if you are using the xilinx cut down XE version of modelsim. If you are using the full Modelsim SE, then recompile the libraries with compxlib.

There is not download option for Xilinx ISE Foundation v6.2i in its site. Only you must order CD.
