testing for target stop state
We are trying to get BKM prompt for processor MPC8555E using Vision ICE 7.11A emulator. We need your help in this regard. Please see items below: 1) Please refer attached "Error" file and "Expected" files. From these files, we understood that the test "Testing for target STOP State" is failing on our board and hence could not make furthur progress. a) Is this understanding correct..?? b) If so, please let us know, when can this test fail. c) Please give us troubleshooting suggestions.
2) We have checked HRESET, HRESET_REQ, SRESET and all power-on reset configuration signals (Pull up/pull down as per our requirement)and could not find problem.
3) We are seeing that SRESET signal is NOT toggling while typing "inn" commmand from Emulator. Is this expected behaviour..??
4) We could see "DDR_MCK" clock out signal but could NOT see LCLK out signal. Is this expected behaviour..??
5) What is the recommended termination for COP_TRST signal..?? We have given 1K Pulldown on this signal. Is this O.K..??
6) We are using PPC8555EPX533J part. Are there any known issues or errata with this part with regards to emulator communication..?? 7) In MPC8260, we have RSTCONF pin which should be pulled HIGH while using emulator. Is there any similar signal for MPC8555E..?? Please let us know.
8) Please send us the reference schematic for COP interface for any MPC8555E evaulation board.
