Hi all,

I have used report_power in primetime but the reported values looks differently when I used -hierarachy option.

Here's the report without -hierarchy option:

And here's the report for the top module reported with the -hierarchy option:

For example, the sum of values in colomn for internal power in figure 1 is 0.0178+1.403e-6+3.058e-07= 0.0178017538.
However, the internal power in figure 2 is 0.0182.

Can anyone tell that why the reported power is different when the -hierarchy option is used?

it looks like a stimuli was considered in the second image because there is a peak time.
Thanks for your reply, but both image are reports from time_based mode and I don't know why the first image doesn't show peak power.
The only difference is the second image is reported with -hierarchy option.
