5 bit logic prime number detector

Use 3 bit input binary number as the select input of the mux and connect data lines of mux to 1s or 0s appropiately(depending on prime/composite)

prime number detector multiplexer

Such circuit takes exactly two gates: one 2 input NOR and one 2 input OR, no mux necessary. :)
