There are some burglar alarm systems they utilize a presure sensor to detect
rush movements of doors-windows etc.
Has anybody such a background to enlight us ?

My regards

i think that they are differantial sensors(few mbar)..
differantial pre.sensors has two pipe..any flow causes a variation(increasing of the voltage) in the outputs of the sensor.

ok lets imagine the situation like this.the sensor has a learning system which understands the mean power exerted to open or close the the door which it is equipped.but under panic situations a person would def.apply more power to open the door than required mean power. The diffrence in pressure exerted is calculated by the real time program which is running in the sensor equipment. When it understands that the force is more than the required it would give an output as either visual or audio signal.

the mention above terms of power and force shall be refered as physical force exerted by a person
