Hi ,
I am looking for a good preamp circuit for a gooseneck mic with single supply. I got some circuits but most of them are hobby grade. I needed a circuit with more filters and better sounding preamp.
Any help will be good.

This is the circuit that i am using now. But it is having unbalanced input, so too much noise when touching the mic and other background noise. Other circuits i tried were basic preamp circuits with ne5532 opamp.

Hi,

your post#1 does not provide a single specification... but you ask for a "better" circuit.

Amplifiers are specified with:
* gain
* noise
* bandwidth
* distortion
* and anything alse that is important for you.

We don´t know what is important for you. You need to give numbers.

This is the circuit that i am using now. But it is having unbalanced input,
I wonder why you used a single ended input amplifier in first place when you know you want a balanced input one.
It´s simply the wrong circuit for your requirement. It´s not the circuit´s fault.

From this post .. it seems you know you need an amplifier with balanced input ... but why is this "important for you" information missing in post#1?

NE5532 isn´t a bad choice. It has a way better average audio performance (regarding liearity, gain flatness, bandwidth, distortin...) than the two BJT circuit. But for sure not only the schematic defines the performance, but also the PCB layout, shielding, cables, nearby noise sources, power supply, ground_loops ...
