hello,

i am making an led board in which i have to connect 50 led in parallel.
Vf of each led is around 3.4v. and input voltage V is 5V., 60W
power supply rating output : 5V,60W.

as per calculation , each led required power = 1.6*20mA = 32mW
so 50 led required 50 * 32mW = 1600mW

i am using 82ohm resister in series with each resister .
so my question is that Is this power supply is each to glow this 50 led in parallel?

or i am wrong at something?? plz justify me.

thanks in advance

I presume you meant to say the 82 Ohm resistors are in series with the LEDs !

I see no problem, the resistor values are correct and the total current is well within limits so it should work.

Brian.
