I was looking for a potentiometer of 2.7k but couldn't find one in the market although we do have a standard resister value of 2.7k.
I just want to make sure whether the potentiometers have same standard values as the resistors?
Moreover, i couldn't find the table of standard potentiometer values like we have for standard resistor values. So, can anyone plz provide me this table.
I shall be thankful

These are basically E3 series. I have not seen 2.5 or 25K pots. Some come in log taper but muliturn pots are always linear. Pots for volume controls are always log taper, correct (I am not quite sure)

Hi,

There are manufacturers of potentiometers.
They provide datasheets.
It's the most simple and reliable place to answer your question.
