post route simulation using Modelsim XE with ISE11

Hi all,

I am trying to do post place and route simulation using Modelsim XE with ISE 11.
My code is a Discrete fourier transform implementation which contains three 1024 bytes dual port memories, and other logic for calculation of DFT.
When I run a post route simulation it takes 1 hour to simulate few hundreds of nano seconds, why is it happening?
I really need this simulation done.
Can anybody help me regarding this...........................

I think because speed mode of your computer and can not overcome.you should take on board the
good luck !

post place and route similation is very slow, and should be avoided until neccesary.
