Possible to have a high power LINEAR amplifier?

I wish to build a high power LINEAR amplifier with a continuous output power of at least 500W. I do not really care about the efficiency of the circuit. If you have some simple implementation, kindly share with me. Thanks in advance.
 

Rock bands use linear power amplifiers with output power exceeding 500W. Since it is linear its best efficiency is about 55%. The amplifier heats with almost as much power as the speaker.

Here is a linear 1500W (into 4 ohms) power amplifier circuit that will produce about 800W into 8 ohms. It uses 18 output transistors and plus an minus 135V supplies: **broken link removed**
