I need to port RT Linux to a 486-based embedded system that is configured with 2 Mb of Flash memory.

I have completed ISP of Flash over Serial (RS-422) link.

I request the forum to share its experience on the topic so that I can achieve my objective after which I can share my work on the topic.

I have configured a Monitor Program on EEPROM that Boots the 486 in Protected Mode. I intend to transfer control to the RT Linux kernel that would schedule specified tasks.

I wish to port RT Linux so as to improve the interrupt latency and to schedule tasks.

Thanks in anticipation
