Polarized caps can be replaced by non-polarized???

My question is simple...from any circuit design, is it possible to change caps from polarized into non-polarized? Thanks
 

Generally, yes. But you might need to pay attention to things like ESR, ESL, temperature drift, etc. It depends on the circuit.
