plz ......anyone know about ST7537HS1 and its disadvantage

hiiiiiiii all i am working in that project plccs power line communication and i have some modem ic for transmit and recieve but i heard that there is some problems will face me in modem ....so, i cant choose which is useful and if any one used modem in this project and acts good plz tell me about it .....thank u ...

ST7537HS1 is compact, it work, but you must not hope in miracle, depend of the line condition, the apparate connected on the line etc.
In my house I can't make 10 mt, in another situation I have make over 200 mt.
Is critical to use plm with pc uart, with old pc and serius uart i'havent fount problem, with new pc yes, mu must read st application note for eliminate jitter

I would suggest you use the ST7538 rather than the 7537, main benefits include integrated driver stage and a bit more configurable.
