Hi there

I'm not an electronic specialist but I work on IT so I have some electronics knowledge. I Want to do an installation for my home but I'm not sure if there's a solution for this. I have some led lights I want to install behind my LCD tv ( just like an ambilight ) and I want them to switch on when the TV is on and switch off when the tv is off. Can it be done controlling the amp. used by the tv plug to control another plug? any comercial solution?

Thanks in advance.
