Hi everyone,
I installed synopsys 2000.5 and used design analyzer but
there is no way to plot the schematic after synthesis.
What is the problem ? There is no menu for plot in design analyzer, so
is this related to license file?
Please help me.
I think that everything is working perfectly except plotting.

kimx0354,

I think that you're using Design Analyzer under the Windows environment. If so, the only way to plot the schematic is to press the Ctrl+PrtSCr combination key to save it into the clipboard, then paste it into the workspace of "Paint" or any other similar utility.

If you want to see the schematic after design analyzer synthsizes.
You can try to Debussy ...

i think you can do it in c*dence LDV.

Could you give some hints on how to use LDV 4.0 for Win2000 to do this. Thank you

Design Compiler version2002.5 on WinNT have some bug in design_analyzer.

are you sure that there is design compiler version 2002.5 on WinNT?
I remember that synopsys no longer supports winnt platform after version 2000.5.

There is only 2000.05 version on WinNT.
Syn@psys stop support NT platform after 2000.05

do u add symbol library to your setup file.
this file maybe like this XXXXX.sdb

this file have all symbols of schematic!

One of the simplest way to print is use the print screen key.

I know there are no print function in the design analyzer 2000.5.

but you can output schematic to edif file(with symbols), then use other edif reader tool with print/plot function to open/view/print it.
