I have redhat 8.0 with IC5.0.3.3 on it. I want to use redhat 9, so I can have my graphic card working instead of using generic vesa driver and get better resolution (I have radeon mobility 300X)I was wondering if I should install redhat 9.0 and install cadence on it, or if I could possibly upgrade my redhat8 to 9(I heard its possible but no idea how), Is it possible to upgrade to redhat 9.0 without having to install the whole thing again? how can I do it as I cannot connect to redhat system to upgrade my package, it gives me a key error(something like that), please guide me how to go about it,
thanks

i think that u have to install redhat 9 or fedora core III (I tried it before and it works with IC 5033)

Upgrade redhat8 to 9.
I have test it.
it can work.

I agree with adscrz, I upgrade redhat8 to 9, all EDA software work well, at least so far
