please help me

my mini project is automatic bell scheduler and i have to bell the sytem in each one hour of the working hours from 9am to 4pm. am using atmega16
how can i interface ds1307 rtc with it.
am a beginner..

you need to select two port bits ( for example P2.0 AND P2.1) for SDA and SCL. If you are very new then its better if you frist study serial communication or I2C protocols.
