Need to help to identify this component,

and this logo.

The second one is from "General Semiconductor", now part of Vishay.
I would guess the NEC part is either a reversible tantalum capacitor or some kind of EMC filter but I've never seen one like that before.

Hi,

the second one most probaly is a TVS diode, similar to "SMCJ5.0CA".

Thanks to Brian, betwitx, yes its a TVS diode from "General Semiconductor", now part of Vishay.
