Hello to all of you,

I got an AC500 PLC working and had to make a major change (set a 20ms main task), so i couldn't change that online... but before that i wanted to save all my retain variables...
so i issued a saveretain command and it saved on a file..

after i made my change, downloaded it, an thus cleared all my retain values, I issued a restoreretain command and it worked very well!

it was working great, until a power down turned off the PLC, after that, all the retain variables cleared to 0!!! when the plc had to be turned off, it always kept the retain values... but this time they cleared...

I can't turn off this PLC quite often, it's working 24/7 so i can't make more tests, but i want to know if i should have done something more or if the restoretain command don't work well...

hopefully someone with an ac500 can help me with this problem...

and hopefully that PLC doesn't turn off before i got an answer! :D
