Is there a sch for USB/RS485 PL2303HXD interface?
What pins of PL2303HXD used for direction control ?

How to program PL2303HXD OTPROM? how we apply 6.5V? please help me.

there is no data in datasheet for these questions.
 

The datasheet reference schematic shows that inverted RTS_N is used as RS-485 TX-enable. For OTP programming it refers to a dedicated programmer from Prolific.

FT232R offers RS-485 support by a dedicated pin without extra programming or an inverter.
 

another problem with prolific or FTDI is the driver can not reconnect or reopen the COM port automatically,if it disconnected by cable removal or reconnection of cable again or noise.
 

I think, it can be achieved on the application level, possibly including io_ctrl() commands to the USB driver.
 

and in VCP driver?
