Hello, I'm currently unarchiving a 7zad file provided by Skyworks to run a simulation. During the simulation, I noticed a significant discrepancy between the current values on the diode's I-V curve in the datasheet and those in my results. Could you let me know if I might be conducting the simulation incorrectly? I'm still a beginner, so I lack a lot of fundamental knowledge.
I would be grateful for any advice you can provide.
I don't recognize a DC simulation circuit. Main error is caused by TermG2 50 ohm resistance, must be shorted for DC simulation. Or show diode voltage instead of Vg. To compare the curves, you should plot it the same, with semi-logaritmic scale, isn't it?
the main problem is that you added a resistor in series with the diode.
thus:
* VG is not the diode_forward_voltage, and
* the current is limited/reduced by the resistor
