What is the difference between these and regular carbon/metal film/metal oxide resistors?

Carbon resistors: carbon layer on ceramic substrate
Metal film resistors: metal layer on substrate
Metal oxide resistors: non linear resistors for some application. E.g. TV degaussing resistor, electonic fuses....

Perhaps I will rephrase it.

What is the difference between a piher trimpot and a carbon trimpot?

In unsuccessfully searching for an answer it seemed to me that there were also fixed piher resistors.

I have no idea FvM - that is why I have decided to find out.

I have a fairly clear idea of the differences between carbon resistor, metal oxide resistors, metal film resistors and wire wound resistors. But Piher resistors represent an unfilled gap in my knowledge.
