Which LCD are you using? If it's not large enough, you probably won't be able to display the picture clearly. You won't get a nice enough looking umbrella on a single row LCD. Maybe not even on a dual row LCD.
In fact I start my project with LCD , then I exchange it to spinning led display (propeller clock , 48 leds) .
Anyway I need this PC software to generate the matrix witch I will save it on micro-controller's EEPROM.
