what is the efferent between this two which is related to PIC timer2 module 1:1, 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and
1÷1,1÷2,1÷4,1÷8 I think both are the same result

Hi,

The " : " means " ratio " 8 pulses in to create 1 pulse out

What is the relationship " : and ÷ " if result is same why data sheet use different method
