During the designing of a PI filter(one inductor and two cap) circuit how to calculate the value of inductor and capacitors???

In power supply I got a peak during some testing at the output so I want to eliminate this peak usign PI filter but I didn't get how to select the value of inductor and cap

Could somebody tel me that How to calculate or select these values??

A general guideline is to select values that will match the impedance through which the filter will act, at the design frequency.

A large capacitor tends to be associated with:

higher time constant
slower frequency
lower impedance
greater current

A high Henry value tends to be associated with:

higher time constant
slower frequency
higher impedance
lower current

The formula for inductive reactance:

XL = 2 * Pi * f * L

Formula for capacitive reactance:

XC = 1 / ( 2 * Pi * f * C )
