photodiode transimpedance amplifier

I'm going to design a photodiode transimpedance amplifier.
I have two types of photodiodes, some of them can be connected
anode to ground, some cathode to ground. In first case the output
voltage is going to be positive, in second - negative.

Is there any difference in circiut's performance if you reverse
photodiode connection (noise, linearity)?

Regards,
jgorsk.

photodiode cathode grounded or anode grounded

You are starting off badly already. The photodiode output is a current, not a voltage.

cathode ground photodiode

Photodiode transimpedance amplifier output is voltage output.

photodiode cathode connected to ground

"I have two types of photodiodes, some of them can be connected
anode to ground, some cathode to ground. In first case the output
voltage is going to be positive, in second - negative. " Technically, the photodiodes do not have output voltages at all.

Assuming you are talking about microwave frequencies out, you want to be running as in Figure 3.
