Matlab phase and carrier estimation is needed(with ml criterion)
 

On the ML Estimation of carrier phase or timing, there is a good book called synchronization in digital communication by Prof. Mayer and Ascied.

Also you can use the method "power law" proposed by "Viterbi & Viterbi", and extention of it "Nonlinear ..." proposed by X.Wang that both are blind and use full search ion cost function that are ML.
