Hello All,
Please redirect me if there is a post already covering this subject.
I have a requirement to make a portable (single op amp with a couple of batteries for power supply) audio amp.
I work in a high noise environment and have purchased a pair of noise blocking ear buds. I would like to have a small switchable microphone on me that I could enable when I need to have a conversation.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Brian.

This should do the trick nicely, I made one a while ago and the sound quality is really good, it operates from a PP3 9V battery that lasts for ages.

Hi,

The CMoy amplifier (**broken link removed**) as already posted by grahamit is, I believe, the best one for you at the moment. Really simple design. Very good sound. Long battery life.

You may be interested to take a look at other designs. In that case, visit this link: **broken link removed**

Hope this helps.
Tahmid.

Thank you!
Very nice design.
I appreciate the help.
Brian.

I think you should look at the LM48861. If that helps.
