DC 2000.5 vs DC 2004.06

Hi all,
Anyone ever noticed the performance improvement when compiling same design in different versions of DC say DC 2000.5 & DC 2004.06
with the same SCRIPT

AREA, TIMING ---How much improvement??

Yes, the DC2004.06 have big improvement of QoR, cpu time. But few

man will compare it with 2000.05. I compare it with 2003.12, the

improvement is significant.

I actually compared 2003.3 and 2000.05 .. with same script.. I found not much difference in area and timing..
BTW what is QoR

U didnt tell how much improved with new DC

maybe the difference depends on your design size and complex. more large and more complex, more high the performence improves

DC 2000.5 vs DC 2004.06

I run a design about MCU,
the cpu time the 2004.06 cost is 1/12,
and the area is 17/23

Re: DC 2000.5 vs DC 2004.06

hi,
I compare 2003.12 and 2004.06
but only found the run time and area is improved but the timing is the same.
and I heard of option which is XG. does anyone use it?

QOR stands for quality of result
