hi.
i designed a PCI card with an FPGA.
i have tried 4 different types of PCI interface IP cores, and the windows sometimes freezes with all types.
some types: windows freezes at any access to the card, one card freezes when i write, then any later i read from the same address. in simulation, it works.
i measured the protocol signals, none of them stucks at zero, when windows freezes. also no retry cycles can be seen on the scope. no communication after freezing.
why the windows freeezes??
