+pcb +online price calculator

Someone can recommend or has good experience with companies in Europe doing 2/4-layer PCB prototypes for areasonable price and shipping costs and deliver them cross-country?

have you tried Fuba? It is a Vogt owned company in Germany.

QUality is excellent, prices are reasonable, shipping is not an issue.

Do they have their own homepage?

vogt-electronic.com has a "pcb" entry but leads to a style sheet error page...nowhere else PCB is mentioned...

Have a look at:

h**p://www.eurocircuits.com/home/eurocircuits.aspx

they have a special offer for 2-sided Prototypes "Plot & Go". They provide
an online price calculator.

Halabat.

Do they also have their production line in Belgium?
How about their quality?

Any estimates how long the "courier" service takes? (o;

So far seems to only interesting now...Fabu (Vogt) hasn´t answered yet but most probably will be much more expensive (though better quality I assume ;o)

I'm interested in an opinion. Prototyping PCBs business have some particularities: are required in small quantyties and at low cost. The industrial process provide good quality PCBs, but when low quantity is required, the so called "tooling" increases the price dramatically. What is your opinion regarding another approach: use of milled PCB prototypes. Of course there are some disadvantages (no plated vias and holes, no solder mask, no silk mask, max. 2 layers) but the advantages can be high. Such a prototype can be done in few hours (depending on complexity), and the price is considerably lower. The parameters can be similar with those average for industrial process (min. hole around 0,5mm and min track/pad distance around 0,3mm).

I'm using CNC prototyping machine from Bungard and they have interesting plated via/hole system with copper nuts. It is very slow job if you have 100-200 vias/holes but is much faster and with lower prices than factory prototype system.

Hi!

You can try to call to Brandner company www.brandner.ee in Tallinn, Estonia. They say they may to make 4-layers prototipes in a 3 days.

Besides CNC machine which can drill and mill, Bungart have a complete line of PCB prototyping machines, including spray etching, plating, press for multilayer, photoplotters, exposure units, etc... How close or how far from industrial PCB standards are these machines in making pcbs? Is the productivity the only difference or are any others? Does anyone else use Bungart machines? Can a low/medium PCB production line be established with Bungart line? Thanks,
