My mount hole is too small
Is there an attachable standoff? a standoff that doesn't require holes on four corners of the PCB? What do you call these things?

I guess I could drill the PCB to create the hole but I really don't want to apply any mechanical force to it.

Thank you

get a wood or plastic dowel or such, drill two holes at each end, screw one end to the chassis, screw or hot glue or epoxy the other end to the PCB

Yes there is - there are plenty available.

Check out Richco **broken link removed**

They do side mount standoffs for PCB's.

Farnell should be able to supply them etc.

What size are your mounting holes?
