It's an advertising photo from the Fab-in-A-Box website . I don't doubt, that it may be possible to achieve similar results with homemade PCBs under perfect conditions after a lot of practicing. Saying it's easy will bring up a lot of frustration, I fear.
I placed a 6 layer board (20pcs) with Rogers mixed up with FR4 TG170 with 2mil trace width from Finpo almost a month ago, they deliver them with what I imagine it would be with a lot more cost comparing from the standard board with 4mil +
However, it was 2.5mil trace gap on my board, so I am not 100% sure if they do 2mil/2mil for both. You can find out on their website or so. Here it is. FPC | PCB Board | PCBFinpo.com
But, I gotta tell you bro, 2mil is going to cost you a fortune as it empties my pocket just like that !
the ausay PCB can manufacture 2 mil trace width/clearance
their capacity :
Layers count: 2- 40
Min Line width/spacing(mil): 2/2mil
Max Aspect Ratio: 22:1
Board thickness: 0.13-7.0mm
Max Panel size: 23"x35"
Material: FR-4,High Tg FR-4,Halogen free,High Frequency
(Rogers,Arlon,Taconic,Nelco...)etc.
Surface Treatment: HASL,ENIG,ENEPIG,Immersion Silver,Immersion Tin,Flash Gold,Golden Finger,OSP,Lead free HASL etc.

So many ads up here... Any luck having your 2mil pcbs made? If so, share info in private message, so I may need some of that for some of the products as it is used in industrial transmitter in a quite small sized pcb
However, I also have a relevant question to that. Can those manufacturers use 50u" gold plating on that board requires 2mil/2mil? It is small but got beveling fingers all around...
If that is not an option, then I might have to add two more layers and make it less complexed and leave the space to 3-4 , so easier to build and maybe less money to spend on
