Does anyone know of any PCB bare board cutaway view builders? I would like to create a powerpoint presentation when ever we get new tecnnology or I need to give build training to my designers. Preferably a tool that has a previously created library of cutaway views of features (microvias, PTH,NPTH holes, pads, pad stacks, prepregs, laminates, etc.) that I can show a build and train some on the steps of a process. Thanks to anyone that may help.
Are you looking just for cut away or for 3D? Most, maybe all, 3D programs provide cutaway. Eagle has partnered with Google SketchUp to provide EagleUp (https://eagleup.wordpress.com/).

I don't necessarilly need 3d, but it would probably be better. A side cutaway showing core structure, cutaway of holes and copper areas, etc is all I really need. Its the picture is worth a thousand words thing when you are trying to train a bunch of CAM designers on a new process for MFG. Example is showing the differance between a plated through hole and a laser via. Or the differance between a stacked microvia and a stepped microvia. I want to show the whole stackup with plating in the hole, copper pads, finish plating, soldermask coverage and silkscreen. Eagleup is blocked so I will need to go have the IT guys give me permission to check it out.
Thanks for the reply John.
Maybe something from a board house showing how vias and through-hole plating is done would meet your needs. In Eagle, if you go to the autorouter dialog, it will show drawings of the cross-sections. They are not photo-realistic, though.
