Re: pc boot up problem

hi sha,
this problem has 2 possible causes
the first one is related to a dvdwriter. try to disconnect it (if you have any) and check again.
if the problem is located there, there are 2 solutions - to buy a newer one or to upgrade its firmware/driver
the second cause - the harddrive. RUUUUN to the closest store, buy a new one and try to transfer the operating system and all your programs to the new disk
(there are some programs doing this in a spectacular manner)
the second cause is much more actual and critical for your beloved docs and soft

You may change setting of your bios to handle unexpected problems

did it help ?

Re: pc boot up problem

try to use different bootloader and also disconnect the CDROM
if the situation is same then try to change the harddisk

Re: pc boot up problem

Hi,
I think that it is a hard drive problem, if you face this problem again shutdown the PC and try unpluging the repluging the data and power cables of your hard drive then try again, if this works then sure it is a hard drive problem, and you got to backup your important files as soon as possibele.
