Hai , guys.., Anyone can you tell me the processor used in commercially available patient monitoring system(philips, spacelab, etc) ?

i did not mean like that... i want to know the cpus used in patient monitoring system,..any way we need micro controller or processor for calculations and further processing of data received from analog front end.

There are many different cpus used, PICs, ARMs etc.. Factors such as whether the devices are used in life-critical applications limit which devices you can use. The question is too broad to give a specific answer

Tanks for quick replay,,.
actually i want to know the processor specification used in ICU patient monitoring system( highly accurate patient monitoring system), suppose they use ARM or PIC,i want to know the version, vendor, etc.
I searched a lot, i didn't get the specifications of cpus used in commercial patient monitoring systems. Please help me..

What makes you think a manufacturer is going to tell you how they designed their product? Can I ask why you are asking this question? Do you want to build your own monitoring device?
